Chilled rolls vs soft rolls
Chilled (break) rolls
Hard, fluted rolls. They shear the wheat open and scrape endosperm off the bran. First passages of the mill.
Soft (reduction) rolls
Smooth rolls. They grind the semolina down to flour, pass by pass. Later passages.

Roller mill FAQs
What is a roller flour mill?
A machine that grinds wheat between pairs of rotating steel rolls instead of stones. Gradual reduction over several passages gives higher extraction, cooler flour and consistent quality — the standard for any mill of 50 TPD and above.
Is the motor included?
No. Motors (10/15/20/30 HP) are quoted separately and fitted on request.
How many bodies do I need?
Rule of thumb: 700 kg/h per body. An 8-body line handles about 6 t/h. WhatsApp us your target TPD and we size the line.
How fast can you deliver?
Fabrication from 10 days. Confirmed at order against workshop load.
